'well, we'll soon find that out,' thought the old queen. but she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses.
oh, sneaky and scheming little (not so) ol' queen. china ink & gouache. i did the splattered texture separated and then add it on photoshop, i wasn't quite sure i wanted the original all splattery. and the bed is pure crap, but i love her hair. --- a quickie for *childrensillustrator's april monthly topic: princess and the pea. i'll be back to being busy now. miss you all!  toi.- |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
